We'll continue to offer the benefit until the end of 2025, by providing OP cooperative bank owner-customers with daily banking services free of monthly charges.
You'll be able to use personal customers' daily banking services without monthly charges from 1 January until 31 December 2025, with the OP cooperative bank of which you are an owner-customer. This benefit will come automatically if you are an owner-customer of a bank and use those of its services covered by the benefit.
The benefit includes:
- Current account
- One or several cards
- OP's user ID and digital services
The benefit applies to individual products and daily services packages. Its value depends on the products and services you use. For example, the price of the daily services package for personal customers starts from €3.95 per month (€0 per month for owner-customers aged under 30). The Current Account product is already free of charge for owner-customers (with the OP cooperative bank where they have membership).
As an owner-customer, you also get other benefits on daily services
As an owner-customer, you always get a wide range of daily services at lower cost: you automatically get the benefits and discounts to which you are entitled. Only owner-customers get interest on their Current Account and are given Product Protection cover for their card purchases.
Interest on the Current account
As an owner-customer, you get interest on your Current account. The interest rate is 0.25%.
This benefit also applies to a child's Current account, Joint family accounts and Rent deposit accounts.
An OP cooperative bank owner-customer with a Current account with standard terms and conditions and owner-customer membership in the same OP cooperative bank will be paid interest. If the account has several holders, all account holders must be the same OP cooperative bank's owner-customers.
Otherwise, the interest rate is 0.00%.
Product Protection Insurance for card purchases
As an OP cooperative bank owner-customer, you will have one year of Product Protection Insurance cover from the time of purchase for purchases made with OP Gold, OP Platinum or OP Duo. The cover for purchases made with OP Classic is valid for 6 months from the time of purchase. The insurance is valid automatically when paying with an OP credit card using either the credit or debit function.
All owner-customer benefits will be available to you from the moment you join. You can easily check whether you are already an owner-customer.
