The Art Foundation's art collection

The Art Foundation's collection offers a comprehensive overview of Finnish art history. Its core is composed of a fine collection of contemporary art. The works range from paintings and sculptures to graphics and textile art from the mid-1800s to the present day.

The OP Art Foundation's own collection currently includes around 1,500 pieces. In addition, the Foundation manages around 1,500 pieces owned by OP Financial Group entities.

The works of art are mainly displayed in OP Financial Group's premises and offices to brighten the days of guests and personnel. A significant part of the collection is displayed in the OP Vallila office building, which was designed by architect Asmo Jaaksi (JKMM Architects) and taken into use in June 2015.

The building has a public art gallery where the Art Foundation hosts exhibitions a couple of times a year. In 2019, the Art Foundation became a member of the Association of Finnish Fine Arts Foundations. This cooperation enables the collection's works to be displayed to an even wider audience across Finland.
