Nature, landscape and the examination and recapturing of the environment form the core of Katarina Reuter’s production. Through careful and personal study, the artist reveals and shows the wonders and secrets of life to us.

In her often serial and layered works, a small plant or a monumental landscape opens over and over again and gives the viewer the opportunity to see deeper.

Katarina Reuter’s works were given a major exhibition at the Amos Anderson Art Museum in 2008–2009.

She was awarded the Art Award of Svenska Litteratursällskapet i Finland in 2009 and the Finnish Art Society’s Ducat Prize in 1993.
