Use of cookies and online identifiers

We use necessary cookies to ensure the reliable and safe operation of our websites and services, to secure transactions and to prevent misuse. For example, they allow you to log into the service and ensure that language settings work properly. You can disable the use of necessary cookies only in your browser settings.  We do not disclose this data outside OP Financial Group.

We use the data collected through operational development cookies to develop new services and business within OP Financial Group. We also receive statistical information on the use of the service: we use such information for service and business reporting. With the data we collect through operational development cookies, we monitor visitor activeness and behaviour in our online and mobile services, for example. Based on behavioural data, we create various types of user classifications and models in addition to developing a customised user experience in various service channels.  We disclose your browser's and device's technical information with our partner Adobe. Adobe uses the information to develop the analytics service used by OP and for anonymous reporting. Adobe cannot combine the information with your customer profile.

Targeting cookies allow you to receive particularly interesting content instead of content intended for all users in the services of OP Financial Group and our partners. We can offer content that matches your interests based on the OP websites that you have visited or the content you have viewed, for example. You can also see OP’s advertisements on the websites of OP’s partners upon our request. We do not disclose target groups or customer data outside OP Financial Group. However, we may disclose to our partner Adform a cookie-based ID that identifies your browser, which our partner will use to target OP’s advertisements and improve the targeting service. The cookie ID data cannot be connected with your customer information.

Third-party marketing cookies allow us to target OP’s topical marketing at you through various websites and institutional services. They also give us statistical data on marketing and target groups. Social media services belonging to our advertising network (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube) can also utilise data collected through marketing cookies for their own purposes. The data can thus be disclosed for use by third parties not belonging to OP Financial Group.
