Accessibility Statement of OP Light Entrepreneur

This is the Accessibility Statement for the OP Light Entrepreneur service.

This accessibility statement was created on 23 September 2021 and was last updated on 15 November 2024.

Accessibility status

As a rule, accessibility has been taken into consideration in nearly all aspects of the development of the OP Light Entrepreneur service. The accessibility of the service has been assessed by experts of the OP Light Entrepreneur team and by Saavuta Asiantuntijapalvelut Oy. We also actively monitor user feedback on the service.

Accessibility audit

Accessibility is taken into consideration in the development of the OP Light Entrepreneur service whenever changes are made to the service. Among other means, accessibility is tested automatically by technical tools and by testing using screen readers, for example.

More extensive accessibility audits are carried out from time to time. The most recent extensive accessibility audit was carried out by Saavuta Asiantuntijapalvelut Oy in March 2022. The next planned audit will be performed by OP's specialists.

In some areas, the technical solutions used have delayed the implementation of accessible solutions.

Navigation, links and menus

Some of the links open in a new window, which has not been mentioned in connection with the link.

  • WCAG 3.2.1 Focus

Some of the pages have insufficiently descriptive page titles (title).

  • WCAG 2.4.2 Page Titles

No information is provided with anchor links indicating that they are such.

  • WCAG 2.4.4 Link Purpose (in the context )
  • WCAG 2.4.6 Headings and labels

The file type in the file links is not always part of the link text, so screen reader users do not receive information on file type.

  • WCAG 2.4.4 Link Purpose (in context )

When creating an invoice, the customer selection search cannot be used with a keyboard.

  • WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard

PDF files (documents)

PDF files are readable with a screen reader but lack accessibility tags, which means that their content may be difficult for screen reader users to follow. The transition to a PDF creation tool that creates accessible documents is currently in the works.

Feedback and data processing

Did you find accessibility issues in our digital services? If you did not find an answer in our accessibility statement, please send us feedback.

You can give feedback in our Customer Service chat or by emailing us at asiakaspalvelu@op-kevytyrittaja.fi. A separate feedback form is currently in development. (We will respond within the 14-day period required by law at the latest, but usually significantly sooner than this.)

Accessibility of the Customer Service chat

The Customer Service chat feature has been implemented using a third-party app. The app is not accessible to screen readers users on mobile devices.

We try to maintain an excellent level of accessibility through the following measures, among others:

  • We take accessibility into consideration from start to finish when designing features for the service.
  • We use language that is easy to understand.
  • We offer accessibility training to our team.
  • We respond to feedback.
  • We carry out audits of overall accessibility from time to time.
  • We continuously monitor the accessibility of the public website (op-kevytyrittaja.fi) with technical tools.

We continuously work on improving accessibility. We will update this statement as accessibility issues are addressed.
