We are asking our customers to update their information

At the end of 2024 and at the beginning of 2025, we will be communicating especially with the guardians of our underage customers and personal customers who do not use OP's digital services about updating their customer information. This is part of our process to make sure that our customers' information is always up to date according to our legal obligations.

The law requires us to have adequate, up-to-date information about our customers. Such information helps us to ensure that banking is as secure and easy as possible. That is why we are requesting information on matters such as our customers' financial status and use of banking services.

If your information or the information of your underage dependant needs updating, you may receive letters or digital communication from us in the next few months. The fastest and most convenient way to update the information is in the op.fi service, which can be used with the user identifiers of most Finnish banks.

Please note, however, that we will never ask for your online banking user identifiers, card details or passwords by email or over the phone. Never disclose your user IDs to anyone, not even family members.
