These constitute the terms of use of OP’s website. Please read these terms carefully before you use OP’s website. By using the site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use.

In addition to these terms, individual pages on the website may include special service-specific terms to be primarily applied. The use of services requiring OP’s user IDs are governed by the General Terms and Conditions for User IDs for OP Financial Group member cooperative banks and OP web service or other similar terms applying to OP Financial Group’s other companies.

OP’s website is intended for use in Finland. The laws of Finland shall always apply to the use of the website, irrespective of the country from which it is used.

OP may change these terms of use, the content, layout and availability of the website, and the specifications of equipment required for the use of the website or prevent access to the website or close the website without notifying thereof in advance.

Service provider

On this website, OP Financial Group may offer services provided by Group companies. All Group companies are individually called “service provider” in these terms.

OP Financial Group includes OP Cooperative, its group companies (such as OP Corporate Bank Plc, Pohjola Insurance Ltd, OP Life Assurance Company), OP Cooperative’s member banks, OVY Insurance Ltd, OP Bank Group Pension Foundation, OP Bank Group Pension Fund and other current and future companies, entities and foundations in which at least one of the above individually or jointly exercise control.

OP Financial Group credit institutions, financial services providers and insurance companies form a financial and insurance conglomerate referred to in the Act on the Supervision of Financial and Insurance Conglomerates (699/2004).

Use of authentication credentials in eServices

If necessary, OP identifies the customer through the identification means it has approved, and use of approved identification means in online services is equivalent to the customer’s signature and the verification of the customer’s identity in the same way as using a personal ID document. Using user IDs for online services issued to corporate and institutional customers is equivalent to their official signature under the Trade Register, the Register of Associations or the Register of Foundations.

The customer is responsible for the correctness of information it provides in the service.

Service provider’s liability

This website provides general information on OP and services offered. The content of the website will be provided without commitment and “as is”.  Any information provided on this website is not to be considered a binding offer, other binding expression or recommendation to enter into transaction, an offer or recommendation to sell or buy securities or other financial instruments, unless otherwise expressly agreed.

The service provider makes no warranty as to the service content – such as published texts, images, audio files, animations, counters and any other information stored therein – or the service functionality.

The service provider is not responsible for the functionality of the website or for the operations of external service providers or for the content of the services they provide. Intellectual property rights

Copyrights and other intellectual property rights relating to this website belong to an OP Financial Group company or a third party separately indicated. The material may be viewed and browsed on, and saved to, the customer's terminal equipment, and parts thereof may be printed out for personal use. The copying, saving, reproduction, adaptation, modification, transfer, assignment or other exploitation for commercial purposes of any material presented on the website is prohibited.

Messages sent via the public network

The user is reminded that the confidentiality of email messages sent via the public network cannot be guaranteed. At the customer’s request, the service provider has the right to send material containing general information to the customer’s email address or mobile phone. The service provider will send information subject to bank secrecy or insurance secrecy to the email address or mobile phone only if the customer has given prior consent thereto. The service provider is not liable for any loss or damage caused by messages sent via the public network.

Other terms

Securities investment services and other investment services will not be offered to any person residing in the USA nor to companies and institutions conducting their business from the USA.
