The service concerns customers who have been requested by OP Life Assurance Company to verify their identity as a beneficiary for the payment of life insurance compensation.

Confirm your identity

If you have received a letter from OP Life Assurance Company requesting you to verify your identity as a beneficiary, you can do so my logging in to the service with OP’s or another service provider’s user ID.

Enter the information in the digital service

Select whether you are the beneficiary of compensation yourself or whether you represent another person or company in the claim. Enter the policy code of the insurance policy in question. You can find the policy code at the top of the letter we sent you. If you do not know the policy code, you can leave the field blank.

Be sure to include the signed claim application

To receive compensation, you must also return the completed and signed claim application to OP Life Assurance Company. 

Who is the confirmation of the beneficiary’s identity intended for?

OP Life Assurance Company may request the verification of the beneficiary’s identity in connection with paying life insurance compensation. If you have received a letter from OP Life Assurance Company requesting you to verify your identity as a beneficiary, you can do so my logging in to our service with OP’s user ID or that of another service provider or bank. After the beneficiary’s identity has been verified and the claim application has been processed, compensation will be paid to the account specified in your application.
