Insurance for museum cars and motorcycles
Carefully maintained museum cars, motorcycles and other museum vehicles should be insured for their true value. Once a vehicle has been registered as a museum vehicle, you can insure your museum vehicle with motor liability insurance and museum vehicle insurance by contacting our customer service.
A museum vehicle must be at least 30 years old and registered as such. Museum cars, museum motorcycles or other museum vehicles have no bonuses.

In order for us to insure your museum car or other museum vehicle, we not only need its details but also photographs of it. You should take four photos of a car: the left side from in from of the car, the right side from the back of the car, the interior seen from the driver’s opened door, and the engine with the bonnet up. Two photos are enough of motorcycles and other two-wheeled vehicles: one from either side.
Collision cover provides compensation for damage caused to the vehicle in a sudden external event.
Theft cover provides compensation for burglary into a locked vehicle or its unauthorised use. Receiving compensation requires reporting the offence to the police
Animal collision cover compensates collisions with a deer or other animal.
Fire cover provides compensation if, for example, an electric short circuit sets the vehicle on fire.
Vandalism cover provides compensation if an outsider vandalises your vehicle.
Legal expenses cover compensates reasonable legal expenses in a disputed civil or criminal case or non-contentious civil case related to the motor vehicle.
Emergency road service cover provides compensation for costs of repairing, towing or pulling the vehicle back on the road and other costs.
International third-party motor liability insurance provides compensation if the road accident occurs in a non-EEA country included in the Green Card agreement and if you, as the guilty party, are personally liable to pay an indemnity surpassing that to be paid from motor liability insurance under the laws of the country in question.
