Grants by OP Research Foundation in 2024
The foundation has allocated 1,400,000 euros in grants intended for economic research and postgraduate studies. Priority is given to research on cooperative banking and the financial sector on a more extensive basis.
Additionally, the Foundation may grant 100,000 euros in Kyösti Haataja grants for research that is related to the causes and consequences of climate change and biodiversity loss and examines these phenomena from the perspectives of economics, social sciences and law.
You can apply to the foundation for
a) personal grants for full-time postgraduate studies
b) personal research grants (for purposes other than full-time postgraduate studies)
c) full-time postdoctoral research (requires a hiring commitment by a university)
d) funding for a professor's research leave
e) funding for a research team (can only be applied for an organisation)
f) Kyösti Haataja grant, primarily for research groups
The application period starts on 6 January and ends on 7 February 2024 at 23.59. After the deadline, incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
