You can also close some of your accounts on OP-mobile. This applies to the following accounts: Current Account, Savings Account, Growth Return Account, Step-up Account, Special Purpose Account and Continuous High-yield Account. Log into OP-mobile, go to the Accounts and cards view and select the account that you want to close. After that, tap the gear icon to go to Account settings. The Close the account button is at the bottom of the settings view.

You can’t close an account via self-service if, for example, the account is your last one with OP. • If you have a card or an OP user ID for the account being closed, in your message state that you want the service to be closed or transferred to another account. Provide the last four digits on the card, and the account number to which you want to transfer the card or OP’s user ID.

Do you and the other account holders have user IDs issued by another bank?

The account can be closed after all account holders have identified themselves using either an OP user ID or a user ID issued by another bank and have requested that the account be closed.
