Ari Korhola came on board as CEO of the building services engineering firm TPI Control in August 2018. At the time, he explained in the company’s press release that the real estate sector needs reinventing and genuine expertise. How is this visible in looking after employee well-being?
− Practices such as remote work blur the line between work and free time. Well-being and coping must be taken into account more broadly than before. Our co-operation with the insurance company helps us to see matters from both the employee’s and employer’s perspective, Mr Korhola says.
TPI Control was founded in Pirkkala in 1990. Since then, the company has made strong inroads to the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and elsewhere. TPI Control deals with the practicalities of cleantech and circular economy. To its clients, this translates to smaller carbon footprints, energy savings and cost effectiveness. Following the acquisition of Aerator in 2018, the company employs around 50 people.
Co-operation with the insurance company also helps anticipate near-misses and take care of employee well-being with insurance cover such as Health Insurance.
