The accessibility of the OP Accessible service has been assessed by accessibility experts working for OP Financial Group on a project basis. Self-assessments have also been performed with regard to the accessibility of the website. An accessibility expert from Annanpura performed an accessibility test in October 2016 and March 2017. The critical and significant findings from those tests have since been fixed.
The following systems have been used in the self-assessments:
- Accessibility on desktop computers has been tested using the Chrome web browser and NVDA screen reader software.
- Accessibility on mobile devices has been tested using Apple devices, the Safari web browser (touch gestures) and the VoiceOver screen reader app.
Digital accessibility is regulated by the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services.
This accessibility statement was created on 26 October 2020 and last updated on 6 May 2024.
Accessibility of the digital service
The OP Accessible service fulfils the requirements comprehensively. The service was developed with attention to the special needs of older people, people who are blind or have low vision and people with motoric challenges. In principle, the service does not thus contain graphics, pictures, tables or other elements that are often problematic for accessibility. Each page also has a so-called jump link “Go directly to content” that allows the user to move straight to the relevant content.
Non-accessible content
Accessibility issues include the website colour contrast, which doesn’t completely meet the accessibility requirements.
WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (minimum) (Level AA) The contrast between text and background is insufficient
