We want to provide our customers with more choices for card payment. If you want to enable the new contactless payment method for your current card, you can do this when renewing your card.
You can choose the use of the credit feature also for entirely new combination cards, that is, OP Classic, OP Gold or OP Platinum, by contacting our Customer Service or visiting a branch, starting from 25 November 2024. On OP-mobile and the op.fi service, you can select the contactless payment side for new cards in 2025.
How can I make the change for my current card?
If you want to start making contactless payments using your card's credit feature, you can renew your current card on the op.fi service. At the same time, you can change the card's design. First, log in using the link below and then follow the navigation path detailed below.

Please note that we will charge a service fee for renewing a card according to our list of charges and fees. However, we will not charge a service fee if you also add the K-Plussa feature to your card at the same time.
My card is about to expire
If your card is about to be renewed automatically, you can change the charging method for contactless payments free of charge about three months before the card expires. When the time comes, information about the free of charge change will be posted for you on the op.fi service, and we will also send you instructions for making the change by message to OP-mobile and the op.fi service.
Contactless payment using the credit feature
To activate the use of the credit feature for contactless payments, you must first insert the card into a payment reader, make a payment using the card's credit side and confirm it by entering your PIN.
You can also check from which side of the renewed card contactless payments will be charged. This is shown on the back of the card, next to the contactless pay icon. It is also stated in the card details on the op.fi service.
