New Savings Account for personal customers

We have added a new account to our selection of accounts, the Savings Account, which is suited for various types of saving. You can open the account free of charge, and the account has no monthly charges, withdrawal limits or withdrawal fees.

The new Savings Account is a flexible alternative for saving. The account also offers a better interest rate for savings under 10,000 euros than the Growth Return Account, for example. You can open a Savings Account free of charge on OP-mobile or the op.fi service and save as much money in the account as you like. You can also withdraw funds from your account as you need without any fees. Savings in the account are protected with a deposit guarantee.

Savings Account interest rates

We pay interest on your Savings Account. The more you save in the account, the higher the interest rate. The account has three interest steps, and interest is paid on savings according to each step. This means that if you reach, say, the third interest step, interest will be paid on the funds according to three different rates.

  • Interest rate for the share of deposit under 10,000 euros is a fixed 0.50%.
  • Interest rate for the share of deposit from 10,000 to 49,999 euros is the 3-month Euribor from which a margin of 0.90 percentage points has been subtracted.
  • Interest rate for the share of deposit from 50,000 euros onwards is the 3-month Euribor from which a margin of 0.50 percentage points has been subtracted.
