How we develop our services with customer feedback

Every year, we receive plenty of feedback through different channels. We process all the feedback we receive and consider it when developing our services. Thank you for giving feedback! Here are some examples of the services we have recently improved on the basis of the feedback we have received.

Banking services

Op.fi in English

Customer service in English at op.fi is now available for personal customers. We want to provide equal access to our services to all our customers. This upgrade forms part of the development of services we provide to our international customers.

Login to the digital service channel in English is possible by selecting English as the language before logging in to the service. Usually, the browser will identify the system language and redirect the user automatically to the English-language pages.

Repayment of credit card debt in real time

It is possible to repay credit card debt in real time. When you repay your credit card debt directly in OP-mobile or at op.fi from the 'Repay credit' button, the payment will be immediately visible in the card's balance. When repaying based on an invoice, the payment is visible with a delay of a few banking days. We are working hard to make this repayment method also visible in real time.

Tracking K-Plussa Maksuaika card transactions without an OP banking user IDs

The K-Plussa Maksuaika card is offered jointly by Kesko and OP, and some customers have a main bank other than OP. Previously, these customers were unable to keep track of their card's transactions or balance in the self-service. This has now been made possible in the op.fi service for customers with banking user IDs of other Finnish banks.

New mobile payment services: Samsung Pay and Garmin Pay

All OP cards can now be used with Samsung Pay and Garmin Pay. In addition, Google Pay is available for the latest Fitbit devices.

Cards for children and young persons without visiting an OP branch

It is now possible to order a card for a child or young person at op.fi without needing to visit an OP branch. Ordering a card in the self-service requires that the underage person must have an official personal ID document and a personal phone number.

New information in received e-invoices

You can now see new information about received e-invoices in the op.fi service. In addition to the due date and amount, you can see the due date of the executed invoice and the invoice status. You can search for e-invoices based on status on the Received e-invoices page.

OP Flexible Capital – new unsecured loan for corporate customers

Businesses now have the option to apply for a revolving, unsecured credit limit. The amount of the limit can be between 5,000 and 50,000 euros and requires no collateral or guarantors. Apply for the credit easily online.

Updates to the management of corporate customers’ KYC information

We have added a new user role in the digital services for corporate customers that makes it easier to manage KYC information. In future, the administrator can authorise multiple corporate users to update the company’s statutory KYC information. Adding access rights: Customer information > Viewing, Updating and Confirmation Rights for KYC Information.

We have also updated the KYC information form user interface for corporate customers. The form is more accessible than before and allows attachments to be added directly via the form.

Insurance services

Pohjola Insurance's telephone service menu was updated on 1 March.

Due to the large number of insurance services, use of the telephone service menu (0303 0303) was found cumbersome at times, especially in the case of claims services. At the start of March, we introduced a new, shorter and more easily understandable telephone service menu.

We will continue developing the telephone service menu to make use of the telephone service even easier for customers.

The Pohjola Claim Help service gives clear instructions for all types of losses 24/7. The Claim Help is available on OP-mobile and at vahinkoapu.pohjola.fi/en.

OP's banking customers can now use electronic identification also when accessing insurance services

In April, the telephone services of OP Life Assurance Company and Pohjola Insurance introduced electronic identification previously used in banking services to speed up the processing of calls and improve security.

Identification is now used in some insurance service numbers.
