OP Uusimaa Youngster, apply for summer jobs paid for by OP!

The first experiences of working life are important to young people. The associations in our area employ young people aged 15–17 this summer with OP Uusimaa’s support. The application period for the summer jobs is from 3 until 28 March 2025, and candidates apply for jobs directly from the association.

Any young person aged 15 to 17 can apply for a summer job. The work will be done during the summer holiday season, and the duration of the summer job is two weeks. Please note that you can apply for jobs in several associations, but you can accept only one job.

Young people, apply for a summer job from the association for which you are interested in working.

The application period for the summer jobs is from 3 until 28 March 2025.

Complete a free-form application and send it directly to the association’s email, or fill in the application via the application link provided by the association. You can find the application’s delivery address or link in the table under “osoite, jonne hakemus lähetetään” (address for sending the application). If you have any questions about a summer job, the contact information can also be found in the table.

  • You can apply for more than one job through our campaign, but you can only be selected for one summer job paid for by OP.
  • Applications must arrive by Friday 28 March 2025 at 23:59.

It’s a good idea to include the following information in the summer job application:

  • your personal details and contact information: name, date of birth, address, phone number, email
  • the job you are applying for and why you should be selected
  • your school or place of study and language skills
  • your previous work experience and employers.

In the application, you should also briefly tell about yourself and what kind of an employee you can be to the association.

Good luck with summer jobs!

The association will take care of the selection process, orientation, supervision, formalities of salary payment, and general employer obligations. OP is a participant in the Responsible Summer Job campaign (in Finnish only) – by employing a young person, the association commits to following the campaign’s principles. OP Uusimaa will donate the young person’s salary.

Nationally, in 2025 OP will offer young people aged 15 to 17 more than 2,000 summer jobs in non-profit associations. This will be the eleventh summer in which OP cooperative banks across Finland offer young people the opportunity to learn about working life through the campaign. The “Summer Jobs Paid for by OP” campaign began in 2014, when OP Lounaismaa and OP Valkeakoski challenged other OP cooperative banks to hire young people for summer jobs.
