The Managing Director is in charge of the company’s daily management in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the Board of Directors, while ensuring that accounting practices comply with the laws and that financial management is organised in a reliable manner.
The Managing Director’s duties include the management and supervision of the company’s business, and responsibility for the development and coordination of the company’s operations.
The Board of Directors appoints the Managing Director. The central cooperative’s Board of Directors may exercise the parent entity’s shareholder engagement in the appointment of the Managing Director.
Sanna Eriksson, M.Sc. (Econ. & Bus. Adm.), who is in charge of OP Mortgage Bank and Investor Relations within OP Financial Group's Treasury and ALM, acts as the company’s Managing Director. She has acted as the Managing Director since 1 June 2019. Tuomas Ruotsalainen has acted as Deputy Managing Director since 1 July 2020.
